In the role of Senior Azure DevOps Engineer, you'll work on an exciting project for an important client in the pharmaceutical industry, collaborating with an international team of talented architects and engineers who embody a great spirit. You'll get to work with the latest technologies, including Terraform, PowerShell, and Azure, enabling seamless integration, scalability, and optimal performance.

How your day will look like

As part of this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Leverage IaC to automate Azure data center setup, ensuring efficient and scalable deployments for clients.
  • Craft repeatable Terraform scripts for Azure Cloud services, enabling seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Integrate IaC scripts into Azure DevOps, maintaining optimized CI/CD pipelines for smooth software delivery.
  • Strategically plan work using Azure DevOps, contributing to seamless project execution and timely deliveries.
  • Continuously explore and evaluate emerging technologies, ensuring innovative and future-proof solutions.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams in Barcelona and Switzerland, fostering an international environment and strong teamwork.
  • Share knowledge and expertise online and offline, nurturing a culture of learning and growth within the organization.

Your profile

  • A solid background in system engineering or software development, with a minimum of five years of professional experience in these fields.
  • Experience working in enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on involvement in Azure Cloud transformation projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Azure IaaS and PaaS technologies, Terraform, and PowerShell, with at least one year of practical experience in these areas
  • Proven expertise in Azure Cloud development, including Azure Functions
  • Proficiency in Terraform, ideally at a professional or expert level
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework.
  • Ability to work independently and function without supervision (Standalone).
  • Agile way of working with a cloud-first mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and clients
  • EU citizen or Spanish work visa
