The Internal IT team is responsible for all IT-related matters of our employees, from workplace devices to the company-wide application landscape. As a Senior Application Manager, you take ownership of our ServiceNow platform and ensure its stable operation as well as its continuous strategic development. You think end-to-end, connect business needs with platform capabilities, and ensure that ServiceNow evolves as a central backbone for our internal IT processes. 

This role is aimed at a personality who takes responsibility, enjoys working across departments, and creates sustainable solutions with a pragmatic, hands-on mindset.

This is what you get up for in the morning

  • Ownership of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring stable operation, governance, and continuous improvement.
  • Responsibility for the strategic development of the ServiceNow platform and its alignment with internal IT processes and business needs.
  • Operation, maintenance, and configuration of the platform, including workflows, modules, and integrations.
  • End-to-end ownership of platform changes and improvements: from requirements gathering through configuration, testing, and user adoption to productive release.
  • Ensuring a stable production environment, including incident, problem, and change management within ServiceNow.
  • Planning and coordinating releases, platform updates, and upgrades.
  • Close collaboration with application managers, developers, and data engineers to integrate. ServiceNow with the broader application landscape.
  • Coordination of internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure sustainable platform evolution.
  • Driving best practices around platform governance, security, scalability, and process standardization.

We would like you to bring

  • Solid experience (around 5+ years) working with ServiceNow, ideally in a platform ownership, application management, or administrator role.
  • Experience operating and evolving enterprise platforms or business-critical applications.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management processes and platform-based workflows.
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to connect technical platform capabilities with business needs.
  • Hands-on mentality with the ability to configure and adapt platform functionality independently.
  • Experience working with integrations, workflows, or low-code platform configurations.
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style.
  • Very good English skills for collaboration with international teams and stakeholders. German language skills are considered a strong asset.
