Are you an experienced Senior Application Manager with a passion for Microsoft technologies?
As a Senior Application Manager, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous evolution of our business-critical applications. You take ownership end to end: from ensuring stability and performance to working with stakeholders on improvements and future developments.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, collaborating across teams, and turning complex requirements into pragmatic, sustainable solutions. You combine a hands-on mindset with strategic thinking and feel comfortable being the go-to person when it comes to keeping applications reliable, scalable, and fit for the future.
How your day will look like
- Operation, maintenance and continuous further development of our key applications
- Responsibility for the full lifecycle of changes and user stories: end to end change management from requirements gathering through testing and user adoption to go live in the productive environment
- Ensuring a largely disruption free production environment including incident and problem management
- Planning and coordinating releases as well as installing updates and upgrades
- Close collaboration with application managers, developers and data engineers to implement integrated solutions
- Coordination of internal and external stakeholders and vendors, as well as conducting workshops and trainings to ensure successful feature adoption
- Active contribution to the application strategy with a focus on scalability, security and business value
- User and access management as well as support in license management
Your profile
- Solid experience in application management (around 5+ years), ideally with senior-level
- Experience operating business critical applications and complex system landscapes
- Strong understanding of end-to-end processes and a pronounced ownership mindset
- High level of initiative and a strong hands-on mentality with enjoyment in pragmatic execution
- Courage to explore new approaches, test ideas quickly and learn from results, with a clear focus on effective solutions and sustainable quality
- Technical affinity and willingness to implement configurations independently, for example in low code or no code environments or through platform customization
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
- Very good English skills for collaboration with international teams and stakeholders. German skills are considered an advantage
- Degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or a comparable qualification
- Knowledge of platforms such as ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 or Business Central is considered an advantage
